The first phase of this activity was held in June this year, and lasted five days, visiting Nanyang City and Tongbai County in Henan Province, Huaibin County in Xinyang City, Funan County in Fuyang City and Shouxian County in Huainan City, Anhui Province, etc., where the visitors experienced the ancient culture of the upper and middle reaches of the Huaihe River Basin. The second stage of the visit began on August 10th and lasted four days, visiting Bengbu City and the Huaihe River Water Conservancy Commission in Anhui Province, Fengyang County, Mingguang City, and Tianchang City in Chuzhou City, and the middle and lower reaches of the Huaihe River in Hongze District, Huai’an City, and Guangling District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province.

The launching ceremony of the second phase of activities was held at the floodgate of Huayuayuan Lake of Huaihe River in Fengyang, which attracted the attention of the searchers with its modernization, high quality engineering and integration of traditional Chinese architectural styles into the modern water conservancy building. The searchers came to the Huaihe River Hongze Lake into the river waterway control gate three river gate, which is an important achievement of China’s governance of the Huaihe River, is the early years of the founding of the country’s own design and construction of large-scale projects.
